Holiday Blessings

Happy Holidays…I like this time of year as my house is festive and the fireplace is warm. Also there is only one more yard clean up before it starts freezing here in the PNW then I can rest my bones for a few months while planning what to grow next. Looking back on the year studio wise I did about a dozen pieces, one bigger cold wax Buddha, and the rest watercolors. I also created a set of greeting cards and want to add more moving forward. I’ve sent a few cards out and it is so rewarding to share the love on a more personal level. The cosmos have been calling me recently too and I have a large canvas prepped and ready to go. Having never attempted a cosmos that big I’m feeling excited about trying it plus winter is a great time for Encaustics as the studio stays toasty warm. Additionally traveling this year was abundant and it was really nice. No camping however…boooooo…sounds like a next year goal. :) Randomly my husband and I tackled some Summer outdoor house painting and it was fun working together…but tiring so I hope it lasts a long time~lol. 2024 is on the way out and looking back can be useful while keeping an eye on the future. Life is always full of surprises… like hey lets paint the house or lets go here, or(fill in the blank______). I try to keep peace as my priority and strive to grow and morph with this ever-changing new world. Everyday is literally a gift!

Wishing you a merry Christmas and many blessings to come,

Sandi
